School districts can differ from city boundaries. A ZIP or city match does not confirm your school district. This guide uses 2020 Census ZIP Code Tabulation Areas: approximate ZIP areas, not current postal delivery boundaries. We compare them with the county’s current election-district map and include every possible overlap. Boundary touches can add extra contests.

Missing ZIPs can include new or PO Box delivery codes. Use the address lookup or GoVoteTN; missing from this guide does not mean you cannot vote.

Narrow by street address (optional)

Your ZIP code works without an address. An address search can help narrow the possible districts.

Selecting “Search county address records” sends your street address, ZIP and optional city directly to Shelby County’s public address service. They do not go to a Memphia server. The county may log searches; we have not verified how long it keeps them.

Street addresses stay off share links. Confirm your final ballot and voting place with the official election lookup.

Choose districts manually (optional)

If you know your districts, you can select them here. These controls do not determine your eligibility.

No district or municipality is assigned to you by default. Verify manually selected districts against your official ballot.

Voting by mail, assistance or a problem?

Already requested an absentee ballot?

The ordinary request deadline was October 24, 2026. A returned ballot must reach the election commission by 7 p.m. CST on November 3. Mail it through USPS, FedEx or UPS. Hand delivery is not accepted. A postmark alone does not meet the deadline.

Official absentee rules & exceptions ↗ · Track your ballot ↗

If you requested an absentee ballot and need to vote in person, SCEC says you must use a provisional ballot. Check SCEC absentee instructions ↗.

If your ballot has not arrived, you need voting assistance, your record is wrong, or you have a voting problem, contact the Shelby County Election Commission: 901-222-1200.

Special procedures can apply to hospitalized voters, military voters and overseas citizens. Ask SCEC which rule applies to you.
